Sandra Morante received her BFA in art and art education from University of Texas at Arlington in 2016. Her artwork explores the relationship between forms and memory as expressed through the veil of color. Color and shapes in her work portray the ambiguity and emotion of a recollection, all that remains once reality has been committed to memory. A secondary element present in Morante's work is the identity of woman and the female experience in the modern world.
